PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method and a forming device capable of feeding raw material powder into a cavity at a high speed and conducting a continuous forming operation without generating a problem of powder biting, etc. SOLUTION: A feeder box 26 accommodating raw material powder 30 having an average grain size of 0.1-500μm is positioned above the cavity 20 of a die 12, at the state where the pressure in the feeder box 26 and the cavity 20 are respectively set to <=10 kPa, the raw material powder 30 is made to fall into the cavity 20. The raw material powder 30 may be fed with vibration of the feeder box or through a hose 58. The raw material powder 30 may be granulation powder as well as rare earth alloy powder. The raw material powder 30 fed into the cavity 20 is compacted by an upper punch 36 and a lower punch 18.
