摘要 An essentially white riboflavin-containing feed supplement comprises not more than 2.5% by weight of riboflavin phosphate or an edible salt thereof or a mixture of such substances, in admixture with a dry white edible powder, such as a starch, flour, calcium sulphate or phosphate, amounting to more than 50% of the total weight of the supplement and, optionally, additional vitamins and nutrient salts. An example of a white feed supplement which was stable with respect to the riboflavin content after three weeks storage at 113 DEG F and 86% relative humidity is 5,9g sodium riboflavin 51-phosphate, 6,1g thiamine mononitrate, 45,6g niacin, 38,4g ferrum reductum and 357,6g of a mixture of wheat starch and tricalcium phosphate.ALSO:An essentially white riboflavin-containing additive comprises not more than 2.5% by weight of riboflavin phosphate or an edible salt thereof or a mixture of such substances, in admixture with a dry white edible powder, such as a starch, flour, calcium sulphate or phosphate, amounting to more than 50% of the total weight of the additive and, optionally, additional vitamins and nutrient salts. According to an example, 5.9 g. sodium riboflavin 51-phosphate, 6.1 g. thiamine mononitrate, 45.6 g. niacin, 38.4 g. ferrum reductum, and 357.6 g. of a mixture of wheat starch and tricalcium phosphate were thoroughly blended to yield a stable, white, uniform mixture. This "premix" was added to white flour at the rate of 1/2 oz. per 100 lb. white flour and bread was baked with this enriched white flour.
