METHOD FOR DEHUMIDIFYING AND DRYING SYNTHETIC RESIN POWDER AND GRAINS AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dehumidifying and drying synthetic resin powder and grains by which high dehumidification/drying efficiency is realized by the combined use of vacuum treatment and heating treatment, and a device using the method. SOLUTION: The method for dehumidifying and drying and the device therefor are operated for the dehumidification and drying of synthetic resin powder and grains to be supplied to a synthetic resin molding machine. In this method by the described device, a specified amount of synthetic resin powder and grains are loaded into a drying device body (a vacuum dehumidifying and drying device body 7) equipped with a heat generating means (a heat exchanger 8) and a heat dissipation means (heat pipe 11) and are heated. At the same time, the synthetic resin powder and grains are heated under a vacuum state created by evacuating the drying device body during heating. Thus it is possible to shorten treatment time for the dehumidification and drying of the synthetic resin powder and grains by heating the powder and grains in a vacuum state and make the operation to dehumidity and dry the powder and grains highly efficient.
