PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel bedding which presents patterns by arranging goddess of mercy images and Buddhistic images, Mandaras of various kinds on fabrics making up a coverlet, a sleeping mat and a sheet. SOLUTION: This bedding 1 is any of a coverlet, a sleeping mat or a sheet. A Mandara pattern 3, Buddhistic images of various kinds or the like are arranged on a fabric 2 itself composing the bedding 1. Especially, when an old person embracing Buddhism uses the bedding, he enjoys the supreme peace of mind and feels comfortable in it during the use thereof. After his death, respecting the thought of the transmigration of the soul, the bedding is handled as intact together with the user in the cremation, the burial and the mass for the dead thereby realizing a novel and significant bedding.
