SNOW GUARD FITTING FOR ROOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a snow guard fitting on a cap type roof by folding the upper facing side of a clamping piece in curved shape, while forming the lower facing side as a holding part corresponding to the side face part of circular swollen shape, and forming the lower edge as a clamping face part opposite to an opposed face. SOLUTION: A cap (c) part in a cap type roof which is a mounting object is clamped by a clamping piece 1 with a support point part 12 at the top part abutting on the cap (c) part. A holding part 13 of the clamping piece 1 is held along the swollen part of the cap (c), and a holding face part 14 abuts on the lower part of the cap (c). A through bolt 2 and a tightening nut 3 are then thread-fastened and tightened. The cap (c) is therefore clamped by the holding part 13 and the clamping part 14 with the abutting support point part 12 as a support point, and the clamping piece 1 is fixed to the roof. Local concentration of clamping pressure is prevented by forming a clamping part into a suitably large face. A fitting can therefore be fitted without damaging a cap to cope with the cap type roof.
