PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer which can immediately deal with various user's specification requests and various uses, reduce its hardware constitution scale while maintaining the advantage that data can be saved in an EEP-ROM semipermanently at need, increase the use efficiency of hardware resources, and actualize fast and secure writing matching with element characteristics. SOLUTION: This is a single-chip type microcomputer 10 and its main part is equipped with the EEP-ROM 4 where user programs and data needed to be stored are both written at an arbitrary rate together with a CPU 1. Further, the microcomputer is equipped with a mask ROM 3 where a write control program for writing to the EEP-ROM 4 is fixedly stored in advance as part of a standard program. |
