PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounting type light emitting diode for early achieving mass production and for mixing fluorescent agent or the like into the optimal position, and a method for manufacturing this device. SOLUTION: Fluorescent materials for increasing light quantity, in response to lights from a light emitting element 42, is mixed in a stereoscopic first resin layer 48. Aging preventing agent, such as ultraviolet-ray absorbing agent for preventing the deterioration of the first resin layer 48 and the light emitting element 42, is mixed into the second resin layer 50 covering a whole surface except the bottom face of the first resin layer. The fluorescent materials is precipitated in the surrounding of the light emitting element 42, and mixed into the optimal position. The antiaging agent absorbs ultraviolet rays for preventing the deterioration of the first resin layer 48 or the light emitting element 42 due to the ultraviolet rays. |
