PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost color filter for a reflective liquid crystal display device in which a function of a positioning marker is not damaged and a method for its manufacturing, in the color filter for the reflective liquid crystal display device which is not provided with a matrix type light shielding layer. SOLUTION: A color filter for a reflective liquid crystal display device is manufactured by providing color filter pixels 2 on almost a central region of a transparent substrate 1 and a positioning marker 3 on its peripheral part, using a double layered positioning marker 3 comprising a positioning marker 31 composed of a light reflection metal film and a positioning marker 32 composed of colored resin, and forming the double layered positioning marker 3 comprising, the positioning marker 32 of the colored resin formed by film- forming a light reflection metal film 41 and subsequently providing colored photosensitive resin 42, and the positioning marker 31 of the light reflection metal film formed by using the marker 32 as an etching mask. |
