PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively transmit/receive a file by judging the take-in of plural pictures while the pictures are taken in, judging the presence or absence of an added file, judging reception time, transmission completion time and transmission error time and automatically accumulating them in pertinent document files at the time of reception. SOLUTION: A sentence management key is depressed, a sentence file is opened, the file is selected from the respective document files of non-delivery, transmission and reception if needed the step of thumbnail display is executed and it is recognized on the screen of a sentence making file. Then, the menu selection of transmission, file take-out and printing is judged, transmission is executed and a system reaches a transmission/reception part. A data file reception side personal computer is caused to start transmitting a data file and a picture and reception time, transmission completion time and transmission error time, which are connected from the transmission/reception part, age judged. They are automatically accumulated in the prescribed document files.
