PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash frame structure which can enhance the heat insulation in an opening, which can restrain dew condensation in a lower frame part. SOLUTION: A sash frame body 10 having an architrave-like shape can be installed in an opening W has a lower frame 11 carrying on its upper surface a pair of rails 2a on which double sliding doors can slide. In the assembly of the lower frame, the lower frame is composed of three lower frame pieces 11A, 11C, 11E which are obtained by splitting the lower frame 11 in the front- back direction at a position inward from the room side one 13A of the pair of the rails 2, and a position between the pair of rails 2, and these lower frame pieces 11A, 11C, 11E are laid in a condition in which they are prevented from making contact with each other, and are connected with one another through the intermediary of coupling members 11B, 11D having an heat insulation which is higher than that of the lower frame pieces 11A, 11C, 11E.
