PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air circulation type vacuum cleaner wherein even an area to be cleaned other than a floor surface can be easily cleaned and air losses due to the construction needed for such cleaning is small. SOLUTION: A connection pipe 51 of a suction port body 13 with a suction port 91 is inserted and connected to a connection port body 22 of a cleaner body 12 to return the air exhausted from a motor-operated blower 35 within the body 12, which air is recovered so as to be circulated through the body 12 and suction port body 13, thereby effecting cleaning. A guide pipe 46 is mounted across a return flow chamber 26 to guide the exhausted air, and a flexible suction hose 33 made of a bellows pipe to be inserted into the pipe 46 is provided so as to communicate with the upstream side of a dust collection bag 31 in a dust collection chamber 23. The hose 33 forms a second suction passage separately from a first suction passage leading from a suction port 91 to the chamber 23, thereby collecting dust through the hose 33 or the body 13. The turbulence of the air due to the suction hose 33 in the chamber 26 is limited by the pipe 46.
