PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligning method which is useful for formation of multicolor images and a control plate which is used for the same. SOLUTION: A film 11 formed with an image by using an aligning hole 306, which is circular and acts to prevent the film from moving and an aligning hole 308 stretched to be movable along only one direction, a transfer sheet 21 and a carrier plate 31 are aligned by aligning pins, are adhered by tapes and are passed through a laminator. The film formed with the second image is similarly aligned and passed to the resulted first composite element, by which the second composite element is formed. Similarly the four-color images are formed by using the films formed with third and fourth images and iterating the operation described above. The image control plate is preferably used in the formation of the films formed with the images. This image control plate is used by aligning the photosensitive elements and an optical tool, prior to the exposure and development of the photosensitive elements.
