RADIAL-PLY TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate unevenness at a sidewall part of a tire caused by joints of rubber coated cord fabric. SOLUTION: This radial-ply tire is composed of a rubber coated cord fabric TF arranged so that warps 1 are practically perpendicular to a tire equatorial plane. The rubber coated cord fabric consists of warp cords arranged mutually parallel inside a predetermined width and wefts 2 practically perpendicular to the warp cords, comparatively roughly arranged, and having a high elongation at break of at least 30%. Joints of the rubber coated cord fabric TF are mutually overlapped in parallel to a warp cord direction and at least a part of an outer surface thereof is covered by a rubber tape of 5 to 40 mm in width and 0.3 to 1.0 mm in thickness.
