PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microvibrating shuttle body in a sewing machine, wherein the drawing tension of a lower yarn is easily changed and there is a less individual difference in frictional force between structural members. SOLUTION: A microvibrating shuttle body includes a shuttle body A supported by a shaft and a microvibration generator B for giving microvibration to the pot. The microvibration generator B includes a piezoelectric element 8 and an amplifying member 9 resonated with the vibration of the piezoelectric element 8 for amplification. A controller 14 is provided for controlling the waveform, amplitude, phase and frequency of the vibration of the microvibration generator B.
