PICTURE COMMUNICATION METHOD/DEVICE AND COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD IN PICTURE COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize communication between different types of machines and to execute picture communication corresponding to various pictures by executing communication with a standard procedure of high versatility without using a non-standard procedure at the time of transmitting a non-standard picture according to ITU-T recommendations. SOLUTION: At the time of transmitting a picture having attributes that are not regulated by the ITU-T recommendation, a reception instruction containing a first picture attribute regulated by the ITU-T recommendation is transmitted regardless of the attributes of the picture to be transmitted. A piece of information (header) containing a second picture attribute of the picture to be transmitted is transmitted in a phase for transmitting the picture after the reception instruction transmission. Transmission of a picture having the second picture attribute is executed by the communication procedure of a binary file transfer(BFT) following the first communication procedure regulated by the ITU-T recommendation. Thus, the picture having non-standard picture attributes can be transmitted according to the ITU-T recommendation.
