<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an FW-CW radar apparatus, capable of exactly detecting the distance to a close obstacle and relative velocity without enhancing the resolution of spectrum analysis. SOLUTION: An FFT operator 511 converts beat signal data obtained with an A-D converter into frequency spectrum by using an FFT. A peak detector 512 detects a peak over a threshold at a certain level from the obtained frequency spectrum. A complex peak detector 513 detects a complex peak, having a band width over a certain value among the peaks. A peak separator 514 separates the complex peak into a modeled spectrum. A peak frequency determiner 515 controls a parameter of the modeled spectrum and determines the peak frequency.</p> |
