PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a slide door capable of easily and speedily conducting slider-to-lock rod connection work and adjusting operation in a well-lighted and large place. SOLUTION: A fixed case 2 is included at an end part of a door 1, a key handle 31 is inserted into a key hole 7b in a lock rotor 7 provided in the fixed case 2, a slider contained in the fixed case 2 is driven vertically by rotation operation of the key handle 31, and a lock rod 6 connected to the slider is engaged with a receiving metal part 33 on the side of a fixed frame body 32. In this case, a tip part of the slider to which the rod rod 6 is connected is protruded from a slot 2b in a side surface plate part of the fixed case 2 into a cavity in a door stop part 23, and an end surface opening part 23a of the door stop part 23 is closed with a packing member 30 after connecting the lock rod 6 and adjusting length.
