PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a preview button for previewing, to reduce the number of parts and to perform miniaturization in a camera having a preview function by which diaphragming is performed on the diaphragm of a photographing lens before photographing. SOLUTION: This camera, provided with a diaphragm function capable of performing diaphragming on a photographing diaphragm based on electric control, is provided with a means for performing preview operation (S110) by the diaphraming operation by means of a diaphragm mechanism, when a releasing button is half-pressed (S101). The preview operation is automatically performed by the half-pressing of the release button, so that a photographer can confirm a photographing picture in a state where the diaphragming is performed without other operations. The button which is exclusive for previewing is unnecessitated, and the number of parts can be reduced, and also a space for arranging the button to the camera becomes unnecessary, so that the camera is miniaturized and cost can be lowered, furthermore design can be facilitated. |
