<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To abolish resorting works owing to forgetting to take out or for finishing when a rotational sorting (stack) is selected, to improve workability of users and to avoid the generation of wrong copy. SOLUTION: An image forming device is provided with an image forming device main body 100, an operation unit 210, an image memory device 220, and a system controller 200. The image forming device main body 100 outputs printed recording papers to a prescribed paper outlet. The operation unit 210 selects either of a mechanical sorting to sort the recording papers mechanically and a rotational sorting to rotate the image data for each unit and to eject recording papers in longitudinal direction and transverse direction switching by turns. The image memory device 220 develops and stores image data. The system controller 200 executes the control of either mechanical sorting or rotational sorting by the input of the operation unit 210. When the rotational sorting is selected, and only either of recording paper size of longitudinal direction or transverse direction on a selected feed paper stage can be ejected to the paper outlet concerned, the system controller 200 discontinues/prohibits the printing operation.</p> |
