<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the induction hardening of a cup part and a shaft part of a constant-velocity universal joint at the same position. SOLUTION: An induction hardening device to achieve the induction hardening of a cup part WC and a shaft part WS of a constant-velocity universal joint W without moving the joint W in which the cup part WC with six grooves formed therein is integratedly formed with the shaft part WS projected from the cup part WC, is provided with an induction hardening coil 500 for the cup part to be arranged inside the cup part WC, a jacket 550 for the cup part to inject a hardening liquid L against an inner side of the cup part WC, an outer circumferential jacket 270 to inject the hardening liquid L against the cup part WC from its outer side, a hardening coil 600 for shaft part to be arranged around the shaft part WS, a jacket 660 for the shaft part to inject the hardening liquid L against the shaft part WS, and a work placement table 700 to turn the constant-velocity universal joint W placed thereon, the outer circumferential jacket 270 is formed of approximate U-shape, and the hardening coil 600 for the shaft part heats the shaft part WS from an opening 271 side of the outer circumferential jacket 270.</p> |
