THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the pitch irregularity of paper feeding in printing. SOLUTION: Image data stored in an image memory are taken out for one line so as to be divided into four blocks. The image data of one of the blocks are transferred to a thermal head so as to be printed. After printing, the recording paper is fed by 1/3 of the line-to-line pitch in the sub scanning direction. By repeating the process, the printing operation is executed as shown in the figure.
