摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a polycarbonate can efficiently be produced without causing pipe clogging or mixing foreign materials therein when continuously producing the polycarbonate. SOLUTION: The surface temperature of reactional equipment and materials brought into contact with a polycarbonate low-order polycondensate produced in the intermediate stage of a polycondensing reaction and having an intrinsic viscosity(IV) measured at 20 deg.C in methylene chloride within the range of 0.1-0.4 dL/g is regulated to >=230 deg.C temperature to thereby suppress the crystallization of the polycarbonate low-order polycondensate when continuously producing a polycarbonate from a dihydroxy compound and a carbonic diester by a transesterification method.
