PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a formed part of high quality free from bends and burrs in the periphery of the formed part without using a die and a press forming machine. SOLUTION: As for the method for producing an excaving display formed part, a planar stock M obtd. by pasting the back side of an aluminum thin sheet 1 which surface has been applied with an oxidized film 1a with a supporting sheet 2 is prepd., on the upper face, a picture with an optional shape is partially masking-printed by masking ink, thereafter, the part of an exposed face which has not been applied with masking is excaved to reach the surface of the supporting sheet 2 pasted on the back side by etching treatment and to produce an aluminum excaving formed sheet 1' in which display parts 6 composed of an aluminum sheet part 1B surrounded by excaved holes 5 are formed.
