PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically wash the forward front face and backward front face of a vehicle simultaneously with washing the side face by moving a pressurized water jet nozzle up and down with the advance of the vehicle, and spraying pressurized water jetted from the pressurized water jet nozzle, successively up and down to the front face of the vehicle to wash it. SOLUTION: When a proximity switch SW detects the state of the front of a vehicle being in proximity to a vehicle side face washing device, a pump 30 is driven to jet pressurized water from a pressurized water jet nozzle 5, and a traveling machine 4 travels on a travel rail 3 synchronously with the advance speed of the vehicle. Pressurized water is therefore sprayed to a forward front face 6a from the pressurized water jet nozzle 5, and the pressurized water jet nozzle 5 advances synchronously with the advance speed of the vehicle 1 and further moves up and down in order. Even when the vehicle 1 is traveling at the side face washing speed, the forward front face 6a is therefore washed up and down without stopping the vehicle 1.
