PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chassis of structure where leg parts are moved in a mutually separating direction in the state of keeping leg parts parallel with each other. SOLUTION: The chassis is provided with two leg parts that are parallel with each other or extend substantially parallel away from each other and a cross member 13 connected with the two leg parts. A cross member is provided with first, second and third members 14, 16 and 17. The second member 16 is freely extensible in the state of a nest in the first member 14. The third member 17 is freely extensible in the state of a nest in the second member 16. A linear actuator 21 is installed in order to extend/contract the second and third members in a direction opposite to the first member.
