SINTERING FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sintering facility for firing a sintering material continuously while carrying and treating exhaust gas while sucking through a plurality of wind boxes arranged in the carrying direction in which generation of dioxin is suppressed by providing each wind box with a unit for quenching the exhaust gas passing therethrough. SOLUTION: A sintering material 2 is fed into an ore supply hopper 1 and charged onto a pallet 4 from the gate of the ore hopper 1 through a drum feeder 3. The pallet 4 is driven toward the longitudinal direction of a sintering machine to carry the charged sintering material 2 to the ore discharging side. A plurality of wind boxes 6 are arranged under the pallet 4 along the carrying direction of sintering material 2 and coupled with a dust collector 8 and a main air discharge unit 9 through a main exhaust duct 7. A wind box 6a on the ore discharging side is arranged with a mist spray nozzle and a heat exchanger. Exhaust gas passed through each wind box 6 is fed through the main exhaust duct 7 to the dust collector 8 where dust is collected before the exhaust gas is dispersed into the atmosphere from a chimney.
