PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple floating pier which can be easily set for a marina or the shore of a lake and easily mooring a ship. SOLUTION: A ring-like support ring 30 is provided by positioning a main body 20 having a frame supported by a floating body 22 and an elongated deck plate 23 supported by the frame on both ends of the longitudinal direction of the deck plate 23, the lower end of a guide pile 40 fitted loosely on the support ring 30 is fixed on a water bottom, and a floating pier 10 simultaneously fluctuates with the fluctuation of a water surface. The main body 20 having the frame supported by the floating body 22 and the elongated deck plate 23 supported by the frame is floated on the water surface, the guide pile 40 is inserted in the ring-like support ring 30 provided by being positioned on both the ends of the longitudinal direction of the deck plate 23 to be suspended underwater, and after the lower end is abutted on the water bottom and the set position of the main body is determined, a blow is applied on the top part of the guide pile 40 to drive it into the water bottom.
