<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove ranging errors, in addition to a speed error by roughly calculating a ranging error amount from the peak position of the mutual correlation of two data, and improving angular resolution by using a reference signal which reflects it. SOLUTION: Although processing up to the calculation of the peak position of a correlative result is as in the conventional technique, and when there is a ranging error dR, initial resolution cannot be attained and it deteriorates. Therefor a ranging error calculation part 19 roughly calculates the ranging error dR, by using a map drift from a peak position, a converging deciding part 20 converges and decides it, when it does not converge, the processing is returned to a reference signal preparation part 16, and the processing considering a measured error is continued. When it does converge, a reference signal considering an error amount by a reference signal preparation part 21 is prepared. An azimuth compression processing part 18 performs azimuth compression over the whole range to generate an image. Thereby, even if the map drift is improved and a measured error amount exists, initial resolution can be attained.</p> |
