PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing method, with which non-metallic inclusion from molten metal can efficiently be removed in high level. SOLUTION: This method is the one, with which solidification of electric conductive molten metal 10 is progressed from a cooling wall surface and also, shifting flow is formed in the molten metal and the non-metallic inclusion contained in the molten metal is caught into the surface of a solidified shell 11. Concretely, as the cooling wall surface, an electric-conductive vessel 1 having the inner part water-cooling type segment structure, is used and the non-metallic inclusion is caught into the solidified shell at the adjacent void position to the segments.
