PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a receiver for receiving and decoding a digital broadcast by simple constitution, outputting decoded data to the external, decoding data inputted from the external, and outputting the decoded data to the external. SOLUTION: The receiver is provided with a received data demodulation means 10 for receiving and demodulating a digital broadcast and generating a 1st clock based on the digital broadcast and a clock generation means 30 for dividing the frequency of a 2nd prescribed clock and generating a 3rd clock. In the case of receiving and decoding a digital broadcast, the 1st clock is used, and in the case of decoding data inputted from the external, the 3rd clock is used. |
