PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically control the focusing, etc., of an image pickup means in accordance with the eye movement of an observer while showing the image of an object to the observer. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an image pickup means 1 for an object image acquisition 30, a displaying means 3 which shows the image of the object 30 picked up by the means 1 and an image pickup means 4 or 4' which picks up the eye movement of an observer closely watching the means 3. The means 4 for eye movement detection is provided on the surface side of the means 3, or the means 4' for eye movement detection is provided on the rear side of the means 3 so as to recognize a close observation point (p) being a specific point of the object image watched closely by the observer. With this configuration, it is possible to show the observer an image on the one hand and to acquire the eye movement of the observer on the other hand. |
