SOLUTION: This device is an optical parallel transmitting receiver containing a photodetector array 3f arranging plural photodetectors in an array state on the same semiconductor substrate and a preamplifier IC 3g integrating plural receiving circuits, and the photodetector array 3f is a back incident type photodetector, and the photodetector array 3f is flip chip mounted on the upper surface of the preamplifier IC 3g.
