PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of authentication without damaging the safety of biological authentication and to save the labor and time of relief treatment at the time of an individual rejection by using authentication by biological information and authentication by a user ID and an identification number together. SOLUTION: The biological information of a user to utilize a specified device is read by a reader and digitized. Then, the biological information in a registered user list 108 storing the biological information of the users to whom utilization is permitted beforehand and the digitized biological information of the utilizing user are compared. In this case, in the case that the biological information of the utilizing user does not match the biological information in the registered user list 108 and in the case that the relevance factor is equal to or more than a specified value, authentication by the user ID and the identification number is performed and the utilization of the specified device is permitted in the case that the identification number matches. The registered user list 108 is the list storing the fingerprint information for instance of the users to whom the utilization of terminal equipment 100 is permitted. |
