PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device capable of reducing vibration in a horizontal direction to a building, especially a prefabricated house, effectively and at low cost, a building, and the prefabricated house. SOLUTION: This vibration control device for reducing horizontal vibration of a building comprises a plate type weight having a rectangular flat surface, a lamination rubber to provide horizontal restoration force to the weight while supporting the weight, a damping member to provide damping force to horizontal motion of the weight, an auxiliary spring to adjust a horizontal natural frequency of the weight, and a stopper to prevent excessive displacement and removal of the weight. This control device is installed on a building, especially a prefabricated house. |
