PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vibration when a pulse motor is driven by shifting the period of drive pulse for respective pulse motors by 1/N assuming the number of a plurality of pulse motors arranged nearby is N and making a gear meshing a gear arranged on the output shaft of the pulse motor of a soft material. SOLUTION: When a plurality of stepping motors 50, 51 are arranged side by side, vibrations corresponding to the drive pulse of respective motor resonated generate sound and vibration. In order to cancel vibrations and sounds generated from respective motors, the motors are driven while being shifted by an amount determined by dividing the period of the drive pulse by the number of motors. When two motors are arranged side by side, they are driven with pulses shifted by 1/2 period. Furthermore, the motor gear drive train is formed of helical gears in order to suppress sound and vibration of a motor drive system and a gear meshing the motor shaft is made of a material softer than the gear of the motor shaft. According to the arrangement, meshing rate of each gear is increased and smooth rotation is ensured while relaxing vibration of the motor. |
