摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten reinforcing effect, reduce weight and simplify reinforcing work by providing an opening brace with a carbon fiber pipe with carbon fibers arranged in the circumferential direction of the pipe, and passing bracing reinforcements with both ends fixed to a building, inside the pipe, and filling setting material in the pipe to constitute a brace. SOLUTION: A brace 3 is constituted by connecting a carbon fiber pipe 4 built up in X-shape, to four corners of an opening of a building, arranging bracing reinforcements 5 in X-shape inside the pipe 4, fixing the bracing reinforcements 5 to four corners of the opening, and filling nonshrink mortar in the pipe 4. The pipe 4 is constituted by winding carbon fiber sheets 9 around four straight pipes 7 of square cross section with one ends connected to four corners of the opening of the building, and an X-shape pipe 8 disposed at the center of the opening to butt four straight pipes 7. When compressive force is applied to the brace 3, the carbon fiber pipe 4 prevents buckling to obtain high reinforcing effect without enlarging the diameter of the brace 3, and since the carbon fiber pipe 4 serves as a form when filling nonshrink mortar, reinforcing effect is improved, and weight is reduced.
