PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electromagnetic noise while stability of starting is attained by eliminating the dead point of starting, in a vibration generating flat type DC motor constituting a magnetic field of a permanent magnet magnetizing four poles in a thickness direction and an armature using two coils. SOLUTION: This DC motor, provided with a first commutator 120a of segment quantity 8 in an external peripheral side surface of a commutator 120 and a second commutator 120b of segment quantity 8 in a bottom surface of the commutator 120, arranges a pair of rectifying brush contact parts 135d, 136d engaged with the first commutator 120a to be mutually displaced by 180 deg. of an electric angle, and arranges a pair of short circuit brush contact parts 147a, 147b displaced by 90 deg. of an electric angle from the rectifying brush contact part to be provided with a mutual angular space at 180 deg. of an electric angle to be engaged with the second commutator 120b.
