PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a set figure always in an easy-to-see state irrelevantly to whether the number of elements of each set is large or small by performing display control so that the set figure based upon information regarding inputted sets is within a set figure display range according to the information. SOLUTION: A CPU 2 stores elements of a set inputted to a set list in a list data memory in a RAM 8. When a set expression is inputted, the set relative figure corresponding to the inputted set expression is read out of a basic set figure ROM 9a and displayed. The elements corresponding to the set expression and the number of the elements are calculated, and then additionally stored in the list data memory in the RAM 8 and also displayed at a display part 6. When the inputted set expression is an element number arithmetic expression for obtaining the number of elements, the number of elements corresponding to the inputted element number arithmetic expression and the elements are calculated and displayed. The size of the set is determined and the set figure is displayed in a display range to proper size.
