PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tilt a display device within a large angle range without substantially movement of its centroid. SOLUTION: The tilting machine 21 of the display device 4 comprises a guide groove 24 disposed at a pedestal 5, a mounting member 27 and turning plate 28 freely turnably and pivotally supported at the bottom end to this slider 26 and a thumbscrew 29. The display device 4 is fixed to the mounting member 27. The top ends of the mounting member 27 and the turning plate 28 are connected by a connecting pin 39. The thumbscrew 29 is inserted into a guide hole 40 disposed at the turning plate 28 and is screwed to the fixing part 41 of the pedestal 5. After the display device 4 is inclined to a prescribed angle, the thumbscrew 29 is tightened to fix the turning plate 28 to the fixing part 41.
