PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a screen for electrostatic flocking easily in a short time. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a screen for electrostatic flocking which has a lot of holes which are arranged at prescribed intervals to face an adhesive layer in a conductive member on the side of an article to be decorated in which the adhesive layer is formed on the surface of the main body of the article, with voltage applied between it and the conductive member to generate an electrostatic field between them, allow short fibers to be planted in the adhesive layer to pass through, and form a prescribed pattern on the article, a screen main body is made of gauze 17 of stainless steel and others having numbers of holes 17a, the outside parts of profile lines 19, 21 of the gauze 17 are plated, while no short fibers are passing through the holes 17a, to form a plated part 23. The inside parts of the profile lines 19, 21 become a pattern forming part 24 for forming a pattern, By the passage of the short fibers through the holes 17a, the article is flocked to form the pattern.
