Preparation of pre-fabricated floor elements, using weight saving pieces as form works during the formation of the reinforced concrete layer

Weight-saving pieces (5, 5) in the concrete layer (1) are used as a form work for the formation of the reinforced concrete layer. A method for preparing a pre-fabricated floor element (9, 9) comprises forming a first layer by embedding a reinforcing structure in concrete and providing this layer with at least one weight-saving piece. The reinforcing structure includes connector pieces (4) for joining it to another reinforcing structure to be placed on top of the weight-saving piece. This piece has an essentially closed wall so that it can be used as a form work during formation of the reinforced concrete layer. An Independent claim is also included for the pre-fabricated floor elements, containing a concrete reinforcing element (3) with a height at least half that of the weight-saving piece.
