PURPOSE:To offer a nonaqueous system secondary battery having an excellent over discharge characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A capacity ratio between positive and negative electrodes 1 and 2 is set so that battery voltage can become O V before the electrode electric potential of the positive electrode 1, in which LiCoO2 is made an active material, becomes 2V or below to Li/Li<+>, that is, the electrode electric potential of a negative electrode 2 can become identical with that of a positive electrode 1 before that of the positive electrode 1 becomes 2V or below to Li/Li<+>. Discharging is eliminated until the electrode electric potential of the positive electrode becomes 2 V or below to-Li/Li<+>. |
