PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of an air-cooled absorption type refrigerating device, to form the device in a compact manner, and to reduce an installation area, containing a maintenance space, to a low value. SOLUTION: Air-cooled absorbers 17a and 17b are arranged at two surfaces 10a and 10b, positioned opposite to each other, of four side surfaces l0a, 10b, 10c, and 10e, and air-cooled condensers 19a and 19b are arranged on the other one surface 10c selected from the remaining parts of the two surfaces. The air-cooled absorbers 17a and 17b and the air-cooled condensers 19a and 19b are offset to the upper side by a give size based on a high temperature regenerator 21, and an off set space forms a maintenance space. This way forms the maintenance space on the air suction surface side.
