The distribution device comprises a cylindrical assembly housed in a chamber which extends along the upper part of the cylinders of the engine, comprising, in coincidence with each one of the cylinders, a peripheral recess capable of placing in communication in different positions of rotation the cylinder and an intake conduit or exhaust conduit, in accordance with a diagram of opening and closure intake and exhaust angles which is predetermined, the distributor comprising an axial through-conduit from one to the other of its ends which is intended to convey a cooling fluid from the distributor which will be conveyed subsequently to a device for exchanging heat with the ambient air. It comprises multiple modular bodies in a successive arrangement, each one of them corresponding to a cylinder, said modular elements being coupled successively together with the necessary angular offsets. <IMAGE>
