System for making manually decorated fabrics which comprises a printed grid, such as on paper being numbered by lines, from the bottom upwards, in which grid there is represented a design or drawing defined by whole squares of the grid, differing from the remainder which are openwork squares which latter form a mesh; this grid is the base for producing a block or numerical table by means of coincident rows in the same order as those of the grid; the numbers of one row of the table indicate the order and the number of the various squares which appear in the same row of the grid; in the even rows or horizontal lines the various squares will start to be counted in the grid from the right to the left but appear recorded in the table or numerical block from left to right, this latter is due in practice to the fact that on completing each row the fabric is turned over such that on inverting the numbering of the even rows, one obtains their all having the same direction, in this manner facilitating their reading. <IMAGE>
