PURPOSE: An opening and shutting device for a trunk lid is provided to prevent operating force from deteriorating by enhancing durability of a spring. CONSTITUTION: A trunk lid(20) is locked by a latch in a shutting state. At that time, a spring connect pin(110) is placed in a first point(P1) by a tensile spring(18). When the latch unlocks, the trunk lid lifts by the tensile spring and lifts again. Then a pin bracket(100) changes the position to move the connect pin to a second point(P2) from the first point. Finally, the trunk lid is fully open. When the trunk lid is shut again, the connect pin moves to the first point from the second point by the tensile spring.
