PURPOSE: A safe guard is provided to protect workers laboring at such a high place as a bridge, to make construction easy and convenient and to extend the life span of a guard and to reduce cost for installation. CONSTITUTION: A safe guard(10) comprises: a pair of guards(20) consisting of a horizontal pipe(21), a clamp pipe(22) and a scaffold installation pipe(23); a connection(30) inserted into the horizontal pipe of the guard and fixed via a fixing unit to adjust the length of the guard; and a turn buckle connected with both connections to clamp the guard on an object. The safe guards of required number are installed, and then, steel pipes for a scaffold are connected to the lower, middle and upper parts of the scaffold installation pipe. Thus, the safe guards are installed completely. Falling is prevented by adding a steel pipe to the lower part of the scaffold installation pipe.
