PURPOSE: A sealing structure for vegetable compartment refrigerator is provided to lengthen food storage period and improve freshness of vegetables by maintaining vegetables at an optimized humidity and preventing noxious gas accumulation caused due to the continuous sealed state. CONSTITUTION: A sealing structure comprises a vegetable box for storage of vegetables and fruits; a vegetable box cover shelf mounted onto the vegetable box; a sealing tube(30) inserted between upper periphery of the vegetable box and the vegetable box cover shelf and which is filled with a fluid(43); and a cylinder(40) installed between the sealing tube and a door(1) and which injects/sucks the fluid to/from the sealing tube so as to open/close the vegetable compartment. A fluid transfer pipe(42) is arranged between the cylinder and the sealing tube so as to inject/sucks the fluid to/from the sealing tube in accordance with the pressure within the cylinder.
