PURPOSE: A structure for operating a sliding door of a bus is provided to simplify the structure for opening/closing the door and to enhance installation and repairing as well as to minimize noise. CONSTITUTION: A door(20) is connected with a working rod(42) by a stretched connecting bracket(30). A couple of rollers(50) of each connecting/installation bracket are placed on a guide rail(14) to open/close a lift. To open the lift, a cylinder(44) operates to contract the working rod with a door switch. After that, the connecting bracket moves in a direction where the working rod is contracted, and the door moves to open the lift.
