PURPOSE: A method for preparing a fireproof material plate is provided, which plate is used a sliding gate valve for injecting melted metal. CONSTITUTION: A plate (10) is prepared by preparing the fireproof material mixture for a body part (13) and the fireproof material mixture for a part (12) around a casting sphere (11); setting a spacer in a plate mold to separate the inside of mold into two parts; injecting the fireproof material mixture for a body part (13) into the inner region of the separated mold and the fireproof material mixture for a part (12) around a casting part into the outer region of the separated mold, respectively; removing the spacer and pressing them; and drying and firing the molded product. Preferably the body part (13) comprises Al2o3-c, and the inner insertion part comprises Al2O3-MgO-C.
